The Society's library is combined and integrated with that of the Royal Numismatic Society. It is housed in the basement of the Warburg Institute, Woburn Square , London , WC1H 0AB , and is available to Members of both Societies on

  • Tuesdays, 12 noon - 5pm (except at Christmas, New Year and Easter)

and at other times by prior arrangement with the Librarian.

The library has a good collection of periodicals, sales catalogues and books on numismatics which is for the use of Members only. A password-protected online catalogue will shortly become available to Members. Most books held in the library may be borrowed by Members for up to 3 months (maximum), provided the simple loan procedure is followed.

Books may also be posted to Members. Queries and postal applications from Members for the loan of books from the library should be addressed to:

Members are expected to pay for the cost of postage. Often, it is more cost-effective for the Librarian to forward photocopies of particular articles of interest.
