Membership of the society is open to all persons with an interest in numismatics, and to appropriate institutions. Applications for membership are warmly welcomed from individuals and institutions. The society is financed by annual subscriptions which are due in January each year. Members elected in the autumn may choose either to pay for the next year or to alternatively apply their payment to be effective immediately in order to receive the BNJ for the current year.  Prospective new members should download the Application Form complete it, and return it to the secretary.   View the Society's Privacy Notice

Gift Aid

If you are a UK taxpayer please consider filling out a gift aid form, enabling the society to claim an additional sum for each member from the government to support its charitable aims. Forms can be returned to the treasurer.   

BNS MEMBERSHIP RENEWALS

Members are urged to set up a standing order to pay their renewal fee - bank details may be obtained from the treasurer, whose email address is given below.  Alternatively, for those who are unable to establish a STO, particularly overseas members, you may use a PayPal account to send funds to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it., or by cheque or by bank transfer - again, contact the treasurer for details.  Payments via Stripe or credit card will shortly become available.

If overseas members experience a problem with making a PayPal payment then try using the links on our Donations Page. Select "other" amount and pay the subscription amount and the service fee; email the treasurer to let him know it is a subscription payment not a donation.  The Donations page offers PayPal or credit card payments.
